"I was fortunate to have picked the name Jody Shevins from a phone book back in 1985.The steroids I’d been prescribed were not working well for my vasculitis (inflammation of the blood vessels) . It was a total failure. I was frustrated beyond words. I had measle like bumps on my lower legs, my ankles were black and blue from the vessels bursting and I could not stand for very long. My legs hurt. I was out of work... laid up.

I knew enough about alternative health to finally seek another way. I called Jody. She had an MD in attendance who was learning about homeopathy with her. After he heard that I had vasculitis his words to Jody were, "Ok, let's see how you handle this!"

With calm sensitivity and compassion Jody began with my diet, for cleansing (and beyond), with homeopathy, herbs and, just as important, gently delving into my mental state.  Within two days, the pain subsided and I could stand for longer amounts of time. It was not a quick recovery, but the immediate effects were amazing!

Since that first day Jody has been my beacon for health and well being. The sign of a true healer is one that helps each person create health. It means that a healed person will not need to be back in her office very often.

Twenty three years later, I only need to see Jody infrequently. I am thankful that she is on this earth at the same time as I. I know I could not be in better hands. My daughter was raised in health with Jody's help. My sister met with her once shortly before she died... she thanked me for that very special day!
